Tutorial Proposals
Tutorials at 2007's IEEE Visualization and IEEE Information Visualization conferences cover a wide selection of topics of interest to participants. The tutorials offer participants an opportunity to learn emerging as well as more traditional subject areas. Tutorials may also introduce new tools and application domains. Tutorial attendees come from diverse backgrounds, including scientific and information visualization, high performance computing, volume rendering, computer graphics and human-interfaces. The tutorials are also an opportunity to share across these communities. Tutorials will begin on Sunday and continue through Tuesday. We are soliciting half-day tutorial proposals on any topics of potential interest to the community, including the areas listed below. Topics include, but are not limited to:
Tutorial Detail Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the tutorial's importance and suitability for presentation in a tutorial format, the past experience and qualifications of the instructors, the overall balance in the tutorial program, and the likely attendance of the tutorial.
