IEEE Visualization 2004 is the premier forum for innovations in visualization methods in science, engineering, commerce, and entertainment. This event, which runs from Sunday, October 10 through Friday, October 15, brings together visualization researchers and practitioners with an interest in techniques, tools, and technology. The conference will include workshops, tutorials, papers, panels, applications, posters, demos, and exhibitions.

Categories of Supporting/Exhibiting

Companies and organizations may choose from among these categories of participation in the Visualization 2004 Conference. In the description below, 1 exhibition unit is considered to be 10 feet by 10 feet, and 2 exhibition units are considered to be 20 feet by 10 feet. Other configurations are possible. Contact us!

Supporter Gold, $5000
  • Two complimentary all week registrations (includes proceedings, DVD, and Monday or Wednesday reception ticket).
  • Signage recognizing the company as a conference supporter and option to display a banner with corporate logo at the receptions.
  • Optional exhibition space size of 2 exhibition units.
  • Recognition in printed materials under Supporter Gold; and optionally under Exhibitor.
 
Silver Supporter, $2500
  • One complimentary all week registration (includes proceedings, DVD, and Monday or Wednesday reception ticket).
  • Signage recognizing the company as a conference supporter.
  • Optional exhibition space size of 1 exhibition unit.
  • Recognition in printed materials under Supporter and optionally under Exhibitor.
 
Non-Profit Supporter, $500
  • Exhibitor registration (includes Wednesday reception ticket).
  • Optional exhibition space size of 1 exhibition unit
  • Recognition in printed materials listed under Supporter and optionally under Exhibitor.
 
Publisher, $500
  • Exhibitor registration (includes Wednesday reception ticket).
  • Exhibition space size of 1 exhibition unit
  • Recognition in printed materials listed under Exhibitor.
 
Academic Institution Exhibitor, No Fee
  • Exhibition space size of 1 exhibition unit (in the exhibit area or the Interactive Demonstrations Lab).
  • Recognition in printed materials listed under Exhibitor.

Deadlines

Organizations wishing to apply to exhibit at or support Visualization 2004 should send e-mail requests to the Exhibition Chairs listed below by September 10, 2004. Payment is due on September 24, 2004. Commitments received prior to July 16, 2004 will assure company listings in both the Advanced and Final Programs, while those received by August 20, 2004 will appear in the Final Program.

Exhibitor Information

General info on shipping items to the Conference Hotel in Austin:

  1. All shipments should be received no earlier than October 8th.
  2. All shipments received will be held in the Hyatt purchasing department.
  3. Address all shipments to:

  4. If you are a publisher who will have an unmanned table, and you'd like your material returned, please include information on return shipping. Note that you will need to cover the cost of returning material to you after the conference.

If you have a flyer or other information sheet that you'd like to have included in the registration packet that all attendees will be getting, you can send it to the same address, but also send an e-mail to Barb Fossum (bfossum@tacc.utexas.edu) and Mike Bailey (mjb@sdsc.edu indicating:

      Name of person shipping
      Contact phone number
      Method of shipment (FedEx, UPS, or whatever)
      Tracking number

They should arrive at the hotel between October 4 and 8, as the student volunteers will be stuffing the registration packets on the 9th. Past registration counts have been between 650 and 800, so you can use that information to decide how many flyers to send.
